Overview

WowShortcuts.com provides free online tools that run entirely inside your web browser. Your files, documents, images, and text are processed locally on your device using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Nothing you process with our tools is ever uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted through our servers. This Privacy Policy explains what limited data we do collect, why, and how it is handled.

1. Data We Collect

a) Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. This service automatically collects anonymized information including: pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type and version, operating system, approximate geographic location (country/city level), referral source, and device type. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. We use it solely to improve the website.

b) Contact Form

If you use our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, and message. This is used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact details with third parties.

c) IP Address Lookup Tool Only

Our IP Address Lookup tool calls ipinfo.io (a public IP information service) to retrieve your IP address, city, country, and ISP. This happens only when you explicitly use that specific tool. WowShortcuts.com itself does not log or store your IP address.

Payment information (all tools are completely free)
Login credentials (no accounts required)

2. Browser-Side Processing

All file processing happens 100% in your browser. Here is exactly how each tool category works:

PDF ToolsProcessed using Mozilla's PDF.js library — entirely client-side, no upload.

Background RemovalAI model runs in your browser using WebAssembly. The model file is downloaded from staticimgly.com CDN once (cached after). Your images are never sent to any server.

Word / DOCX ViewerProcessed using Mammoth.js — client-side only, no upload.

Excel / Spreadsheet ViewerProcessed using SheetJS — client-side only, no upload.

Video EditorProcessed using the browser WebCodecs API — no upload required, export happens locally.

Developer & Text ToolsAll conversions, formatting, encoding, and calculations run locally in JavaScript.

6. Children's Privacy

WowShortcuts.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to prevent XSS attacks
HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS)
X-Frame-Options to prevent clickjacking
No server-side storage of user files or sensitive data

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes we will post a notice on the homepage.
